More Flavor: Food/Wine Consider the Cocktail: A Slow Celebration of the Repeal of Prohibition

Perhaps it's appropriate that the folks at Slow Food Chicago waited until the spring to celebrate the December 5th anniversary of Prohibition's repeal. They like to do things, well, slowly. Master mixologists and Slow Food members Allen Katz and Bridget Albert shake, stir, and discuss a classic menu of American cocktails, paired with seasonal hors d'oeuvres. The site of the festivities is a cozy, vintage-style tavern named for the legendary mid-century photographer of crime scenes and street life in Logan Square.
